This is a very good restaurant with great food, amazing prices and good quality . The ambience may not be appealing but who wants to pay for that! They serve you more than what you pay for! Recommend it to everyone .

This is my favourite chinese restaurant in town. I usually order the dinner for 3 special, and their teriyaky steaks as a side. They are always prompt and the food is delicious. Just always remember to phone in your order, but if you want it for New Years, order it the day before. Delicious, Hot & Fresh Food. Very friendly..Eat in..tale out or delivery..All options are equally delicious & made fresh!!

Best Chinese food in Sudbury

I think this restaurant on Regent is the best chinese food in town. Always busy.

I was sick with a bad stomach bug for a week. Started to feel better and was CRAVING some kind of Asian cuisine. After calling Sun Wah and hung up on, rudely 3 TIMES, I called the Orient. I order a dinner for 4 with a side of sweet an sour shrimp( which is absolutely to die for, not a lot of breading, just perfect I.M.O.). Came in the time they said, they were very pleasant on the phone, and it only took 40 min. IN A SNOW STORM to boot. Best Chinese foid in town, bar none, and I've had them all. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.👍

The food is excellent, and the service is second to none. I'm proud to call myself a repeat customer of The Orient Restaurant.

You're barking up the wrong Peking Duck if you expect authentic Chinese cuisine from the Orient Restaurant on Regent Street. Rather, you'll get ample portions of perfectly spiced rice, beef, chicken, etc. All at an incredibly affordable price. Scrapping the bottom of your change barrel? Then order the always awesome and totally tasty dinner special. For that ever special ambiance, forgo the restaurant's 70's linoleum dining ensembles and have a supply of chop sticks in you car. You can then slurp sesame oiled Cantonese noodles to your favorite Sudbury radio station. Ah the Orient, the best local restaurant with the most politically incorrect name. You won't regret eating here. And don't forget to thank Mrs Wu for her great service and amazing math skills. I'm placing my take-out order now!

Just tried this place tonight and it was yummy!! The food was fresh and made on time. Price can be a little steep but most Chinese food is pricey. Definitely check them out!

This is one of the best Chinese food places in town. It's slow during busy season because they are so busy! Great food, though and worth the wait!

Best take out Chinese in Sudbury

I have never eaten in at the Orient; I always get take out and I think most people do. The family/staff is always very friendly and the food is always good. Some times I get the Canadian Chinese food like egg rolls, chicken balls, etc and it is always good. Some times I get the more traditional options on their menu and it is always very good. When I am craving Chinese food this is my go to.

Open to 2am most nights. Worth the trip after working evening shifts.

The Orient always has great food, friendly staff, and decent prices. They're quick on delivery or pickup, though they don't have a debit machine for delivery.

You may have to wait 45 to 55 minuets when they are buisy but the food is worth the wait. The discounts they give for both picking up your order and using cash ( 10% ) or even rhe discount on deliveries over 35 dollars are free. If your planning on delivery give yourself an hour to two hours. Great food great price!
